we also took part at Bar Conference hall...and put forth our opinion how people inside Tibet suffer under chinese occupation...

On Account Of Congressional Gold Medal

We, the people, of Potala Market had hold a prayer for whole day on the 2nd anniversary of His Holiness US Congressional Gold Medal. His Holliness health is not so good at that time moreover we all know the situation in Tibet from march 10th this year so, there was no cultural show and other activities like last year... hope that day may also come soon in years to come.

we host Dr. Rajkumar Gupta the president of Indo-Tibetan helping president. He preside over the function and he spend almost half an hour with us. Mr. Namgyal Dorjee ex-president of Potala Market headed the prayer for whole day...

The grand opening ceremony of potala market...

President address the gathering on the opening day.

Potala market which is one of the mostawaited market of this beautiful and booming city finally checks on 20-10-08 with winter collection. We host a very common function taking into account the situation in Tibet from march 10th this year.

Our programe started at 7am after honouring a scarf to his holiness the Dalai Lama by our president.Mr. tsering Damdul the president of Potala market gave a warm welcome to all the people of Potala Market and he warned all the member of Potala Market to remain freindly with customer and to be in good humour during our stay at Ranchi. He importantly asked people to remain abide with the law of the market..

we hold a prayer for around 2 hours headed by our ex president Mr. Namgyal Dorjee la and its end around 10 pm.

We host Dr.Rajkumar Gupta ,the president of Indo Tibetan Helping Society, Mr. Amarnath, the secretary of Indo Tibetan Friendship Society, Mr, Bharatwatch the chief editor of all time in Ranchi and some other dignateries were also present to witness the event.

Tenzin rinchen, the secretary of Potala market gave a welcome speech and he extend his heart felt gratitude to all the dignateries who share the platform on opening ceremony.Our media friend who have always been a back bone of Potala Market were also present and he gave a warm welcome to them also...

we hold a mourn for 2 minutes for those martyrs who had lost there life under Chinese atrocities and then we sang a National Anthem of both Indian and Tibetan.......
